We are officially Knox Revival Painting. ?It?s settled and legal, finally. ?The Historic Old North Knoxville Holiday Home Tour is this weekend and I am proud to say that 3 out of 10 homes are our paint jobs. ?My guys and I celebrated with a lead-paint-scrapedown party in Park Ridge nearby.

Knox Revival Painting is an EPA- Certified Lead Renovator and a licensed Home Improvement Contractor. ?That basically means we throw away a lot of plastic and otherwise scrape paint about as good as the next guy, meticulously, and telling crass jokes to make it fun.
Meanwhile the saga continues at 700 E Scott.
This is the brand new tongue and groove soffit that the roofer replaced after he?erroneously?busted it out. ?He repainted it now and it looks very nice. ?I can?t say enough about how much of an improvement the roof has made on this house. ?But I?ll never forget the day my paint job was beat to the ground with crowbars.
It?s just one of those things that make you go ?Hmm.?

But our work continues here. ?The house is being completely renovated on the inside. ?We?ve removed all the attic insulation and the basement will be jacked up with new piers under the living room, plus LEED-spec moisture remediation and spray foam insulation everywhere. ?We tore the kitchen out and busted the wall to expand, framed in a master suite from existing rooms and added a new master bath with walk in closet. ?We?re saving all the old trim and woodwork and having a grand ol? time matching the thickness of plaster with new sheetrock everywhere that was demo?d out.

The homeowner is having the place rewired, replumbed, re roofed, re insulated, remodeled and everything repainted plus a new HVAC system. ?He even had it landscaped. ?Heck, we?re hanging Christmas lights. ?It?d be a good one for somebody, so drive by and pick up a flier.
